The PDM

 
The P.D.M. (Pre Disaster Mitigation) plan, Meagher County was able to join the Counties of Cascade and Chouteau and received our money from a grant given to Chouteau County. With this money, Firelogistics started the development of our P.D.M..
 
The P.D.M., also known as the Multi-hazard mitigation plan will assist Meagher County and its communities in identifying the hazards that could impact them, determining the vulnerability of the county and communities to these hazards, and identifying mitigation strategies to prevent or reduce the impacts these hazards pose to the County and/or community through a coordinated, multi-jurisdictional approach. The rising cost of responding to and recovering from natural disasters has resulted in a renewed interest in effective ways to reduce the vulnerability to natural hazards and the disasters these hazards can create.
