Flood Warnings are in effect through Tuesday morning for the counties of Blaine, Chouteau, Cascade, Fergus, Judith Basin, and Meagher.

A Flood Watch is in effect for all other counties with the exception of Gallatin County where a small stream flood advisory is in effect. The Flood Watch will be in effect until further notice. The small stream flood advisory is in effect until at least Monday evening.

Finally a point Flood Watch is in effect for the Gallatin River near Logan in Gallatin County. The point Flood Watch is in effect until further notice.

More showers/rain are expected today with total rainfall amounts generally a quarter of an inch or less. Precipitation is expected to diminish tonight.

Another weather system will affect the area early this week. Rainfall totals from this next system could range up to near a half-inch over the plains and valleys...while the mountains could receive as much as an inch. Snow levels will still be high...ranging from 8000 to 9000 feet above sea level. So expect continued snowmelt in the mountains.
